My favorites headcannons for Barriss Offee

And Luminara Unduli

And Commander Gree

She and Luminara were the first one to ever suggest the clones made unique tattoos to encourage and praise their individuality. At first this was seeing was a break of the dress code (is that the right term?) for the military, but they found a way around the lawn and eventually tattoos become very common for the clones.

Barriss saved Commander Gree life during the First battle of Geonossis. He was shot and she carried him away from the battlefield passing by a handful of geonissians and, after that battle ended, she was also responsible for his treatment. That all make Gree very grateful, and he made sure to return the favor and cover her back in every mission they were sign together.

Barriss lost a lot of creche mates in the first battle of Geonossis and was inconsolable for quite a while, but on her second mission in the clone wars Commander Gree told her storys about the bothers he also lost that day and they ended up firming their bond even further.

Before the war Barriss and Luminara were send mostly into aide missions on neutral space (helping the people and expanding the republic) and spend a lot of time with senators to join funds for their missions. (That's why they can be seen in the Chanceller office in attack of the clones. They were very familiarized with the Senate)

Quite a few planets that Luminara and Barriss introduced to the republic end up joining the Separatist alliance. Barriss was quite stressed by the possibility to fight the people she once help.

Though their political influence Luminara and Barriss manage convincing the Mirial System to join the Council of Neutral Systems lead by Duchess Satine of Mandalore. Originally they were supposed to continue this kind of work and influence planets to either stay in the republic or take a more neutral approach and avoid war entirely, but Chanceller Palpatine cut all funds for this kind of mission.

Of course Barriss despise Palpatine for it (and she actually thought about bombing his office rather than the Jedi temple later on)

Luminara actually was the one to find Barriss and bring her into the temple. She promised Barriss parents to bring her back to meet them once she became a Knight, but didn't tell Barriss beforehand to not to induce a strong attachment towards people Barriss wouldn't get to have in her live on a regular base.

Luminara embroidered all Barriss hijabs herself since Barriss was a youngling.

The totem/statue (forgive me if this isn't the correct term. I still learning english) Barriss keeps in her dorm for her prayers was actually carved by her parents and Luminara gift her once Barriss learn about Mirialan religion and who that aligns with the Jedi teachings about the force.

Since then Barriss had been making prayers was a easier way to enter meditation, and she actually thought a few younglings to do the same (even the ones the weren't Mirialan)

The Jedi council (mostly lead by Saese Tin and Ki Adi Mundi) almost denied Luminara's request to make Barriss her Padawan fearing that the two of them were way too much attached to each other (similar how they refuse to give Ahsoka to Plo and choose Anakin over him) and we're planning to give Barriss to Deppa Billaba instead (That was away before Deppa took Caleb), but they untimely agree Luminara was the right Jedi for Barriss and that the Padawan would had a much difficult job openings up to a new master.

Barriss were supposed to have a few more tattoos, but she refused to make them in Curruscant and actually was waiting for the end of the war to return to Mirial with Luminara to make them, as they did with all the others.

Barriss used to a lot shyer was a youngling and Luminara had to work really hard on her socialization to Barriss even talk to people outside her creche mates and creche master.

Being with so many clones during the war brought these timid tendencies back and it took a while to her be able to give her squad direct orders (she usually gave the briefing to Gree and he told the rest of the soldiers)

She absolutely hate her military title. Being called Commander Offee felt wrong, so she instructed her soldiers to always call her Padawan Offee. The shines never called that though (bc they thought it was disrespectful), so Gree gave them a hard time about it until they learn to respect her wishes.

Barriss was with Luminara during the prison of Ziro the Hutt and help her master to redirect a crashing ship that was about to hit several civilians on the street. This action end up killing to persons inside a house (that being Trace and Rafa Martez parents), and Barriss never forgive herself for it.

Her and Luminara actually tried to help the Martez sisters after the death of their parents, but the Jedi council keep them away from Curruscant, always in battlefronts. That was the reason she started to resent the order as a whole.

When she discover that Ahsoka Tano were on Geonossis (on the second battle) she planned on thank her for saving Luminara from Ventress on a previous mission, but she end up panic and doing the awkward bow we all know and love.

For some unknown reason Master Skywalker casually asked Barriss to go hanging out with Ahsoka everytime they were in the temple. Not that he needed to ask anyway. After geonossis the girls set studying sessions and lightsabers training on every opportunity they had.

Luminara was also very supportive of their friendship and believe that being around Ahsoka would help Barriss overcome her asocial tendencies (which was very much true)

Barriss is vegetarian. This is not a Mirialan thing, rather a initiative Barriss took on her on. That brought a lot of funny situations with her very much carnivorous girlfriend.

Barriss isn't very good with a light saber and relays mostly in the force during her battles (but this is practically cannon at this point after seeing her fight without a light saber during Tales of the Jedi)

Ahsoka actually helped her to become a little better at dulling and that's why she was so natural at dual heading on the Wrong Jedi arc, bc she picked up so much of Ahsoka's style. (She never master it though)

She thought Ahsoka a lot of the military strategies she memorized for her own missions and hopped that her lessons would be helpful since Ahsoka were send to even more battles that her.

One of her last living creche mate was Naddar (Kit Fisto's Padawan) and when the news about his death by the hands of General Grievous reached her she started to freak out fearing for Ahsoka life. She would had visions of the battles of the 501s and made holo transmissions regularly to check on Ahsoka.

The other crash mates that survive the Geonossis battle include Dante and Ahmar (the other inquisitors recruits from tales of the Jedi)

Barriss chose to stay in Coruscant after falling a mission that cost the lives of several clones on her battalion. She thought she could focus in her healing studies for a while and scape the horrors of war, but instead she saw scars in every Padawan and Jedi knight she knew and a Curruscant left to rotten under crime lords control.

And the worst part about that was the Luminara couldn't be around for her.

When the council began to push a promotion of her to a Jedi Knight just so she could lead a whole legion (they needed more generals after all) she finally snapped and planned to leave the order, but on her way out she discovered a group of protests that claim to fight against all the violence of the war. Among these protests she was introduced to Letta and her husband who played a part in Barriss's radicalization. (Barriss was not the only one to blame for the bombing and no one can say otherwise!)

After meeting Darth Vader she immediately knew that was Anakin, but never got the chance to have a conversation/confrontation with him. If she had given the chance she would ask for Ahsoka (and Vader would have kill her)

She did access the files on missing Jedi the inquisitors had I discovered that Ahsoka was supposedly death, but without a vision confirmation. She didn't believe that for a second thought, bc I somehow could feel Ahsoka present in the force, even if was weekend.

She also find about Luminara "prison" and was planning on suggest that Luminara should join the inquisitors (bc she believed the empire could be a good thing given how fck up the republic was) but never had a chance since she scape on her first mission.

Later on she tried to rescue Luminara, but by that time she was already death.

She couldn't rescue the body, but make sure to build a memorial/grave to Luminara on One of the moons of Mirial. She does visits regularly to bring flowers and meditate hoping to feel her master trough the force (which she managed to do)

On her last fight against Lynn she actually got stabbed on purpose to teach her friend a lesson and could heal herself very easily once they get of the cave (okay, this is just me being in denial but imagine how funny would be Lynn freaking out about Barriss dieing and Barriss being like "lmao did you really thought I was going to die from this? Girl I'm not Quin Gon Din, I can take a scratch!")

Tales of the Empire Thoughts and Reflection

Morgan Elsbeth - The Vengeful Nightsister

The Path of Fear

"It appears your path is set, Morgan Elsebeth. I pity you, for I can see what is to come." Mountain Clan Matron

The origins of Morgan's darkness begin with a tragedy. Her Nightsister tribe (whether that be a part of the same group as Talzin's or another Nightsister group is unclear) is massacred including her mother Selena (Voiced by Morgan's actress, Diana Lee Inosanto, who also voices the older Morgan in the next two shorts). You can really feel Morgan's anxiety and fear kick into overdrive as she saw her people and her own mother die to the onslaught of the droids.

General Grievous is terrifying as hell here. This is the CIS General who strikes fear into the Republic, Jedi, and the unlucky souls who have to contend with him. Likewise, there is no humor from the usually humorous and affably evil Droid mooks as we see them ruthlessly carry out the genocide of the Nightsisters.

The Mountain Clan gives me the vibes that they're Light Side-aligned witches. On that note, it's great to see other Dathomir witch clans since in Legends there were more witch clans than just the Nightsisters. However on that note, when Morgan goes on a hunting trip with Nali, the Mountain Clan Matron's daughter, they hide from a patrolling droid gunship. She then incites fear into her about the patrolling droids, even asking her if she can stand to see he mother die.

Morgan did want to protect the Mountain Clan from the Droids perceiving their unwillingness to prepare for the worst as cowardice. However, in doing so, she with three witches (one of whom is the Matron's daughter) got caught by a patroling droid gunship. But instead of getting the untrained witches to safety, Morgan went straight to destroy the droids who killed her family while leaving the witches to be killed.

The ending of the short ends Morgan alone with the fires of her fear giving way to destruction. Fear can cause a person to do things that end up harming those around them, even if the fear is out of a genuine desire to protect others. I don't think she was fully lost yet, but she clearly let the fear consume her after that.

The Path of Anger

"Why do you seek Imperial favor?" Thrawn.

"Revenge. Years ago, my people were all but destroyed. Our culture, our beliefs, are fading into memory. Yes, I seek power to ensure my future, to destroy my enemies. My anger gives me strength, and it is that strength that I offer the Empire." Morgan Elsbeth

"Offer accepted."

We open on Coruscant with 4 Venators and an Imperial ISD. It is revealed that Morgan is the designer of the infamous TIE Defender which makes her indirectly responsible for the events of Rebels S3-S4. Of course, the Imperials, particularly Moff Isdain, she presented it to are more interested in Corvus' resources, Morgan's disappointment and worries are felt with her facial expressions... until a familiar Captain is curious about her project.

Captain Pellaeon is disappointed to hear Morgan's response is the standard "Glory to the Empire" statement. Mogan is forced to return to Corvus with an angry crowd of people who worked hard and made her Magistrate, surrendered their freedoms, and trusted her to bring work and prosperity to them. It didn't help when Morgan referred to them from a backwater world and negatively looked down on them.

As night falls, with the angry crowd, Morgan remarks how "ungrateful" they're being and how they're not her people. This shows how Morgan is projecting the loss of her people on the people of Coruvs. However, she didn't take the time to be with the community as she views herself outside of it. She doesn't have long to think about this as she's ambushed by Rukh. The townspeople including Wing who have no love of Morgon now don't even bother to send the guard to help. With some quick thinking and skills, she was able to disarm and hold the assassin at her mercy. Pellaeon then revealed himself and stated how this was a part of a larger test.

With that, Admiral Thrawn (it feels so weird not seeing him in his GA outfit) enters the scene with his theme playing. As Thrawn acts more like his novel counterpart by discussing the Empire's shortcomings by focusing on self-interest and petty infighting over the growing threat of the rebellion. With that, he asks Morgon why she wants to join the Empire. She reveals that she wants revenge for her people being wiped out. It gives me the feeling that she wants to burn down the galaxy at this point, a feeling which is more true in the next short. As Thrawn gives her three of his ISDs, Wind solemnly notes that the Imperial occupation is not good news.

The ending of the short reveals how Morgon wanted to be in a community but she can't bring herself to truly be a part of it. Which is why she ended up rejected as people can't see her as one of their own since she chooses not to be a part of the community.

The Path of Hate

"Be brave. No matter how dark things get." Nadura

"I can't." Wing

"You can. Help will come...... but you must be ready to do your part. Even if it is small. You can make a difference." Nadura

The dawn of the NR has come as Nadura, a former laborer, came back to her home for Corvus to become a NR planet. However, she discovers the town has only gotten worse and more oppressed by Morgan. She assures Wing that people can change and perhaps Morgan too. However, the truth couldn't have been farther. As Morgan talks about a vision she has and rejects any offers by Nadura (even thinking she's an ungrateful laborer despite Nadura pointing out the harsh conditions and "fair wages"), at that point despite Wing and Nadura pleading for a peaceful resolution, Morgon chose violence.

Even after killing the NR guards and Nadura, she had her soldiers burn down the forest almost out of spite (Nadura had pleaded with her to not burn everything around her... only for us to get the chilling statement of how her world has been burning since Dathomir). However, a ray of hope arrives when Wing is assured help is on the way by Nadura and he needs to be ready to help whatever he can. This really got to me as I was invested in Wing's growth, especially when we see him in Mando S2 helping to free the prisoners and alerting Djarin about the droid. He was able to live up to Nadura's hopes.

In the end, the cycle repeats itself. It's depressing and tragic to see how the sympathetic victim becomes the victimizer monster. In Morgan's quest to see her destiny fulfilled, she became just like the cyborg General who killed her people. The short ends with a seemingly downer note as Morgan destroys the communicator (Bo-Katan on the other side). However, there was a brief moment of Ahsoka's leitmotif used, a sign of what's to come in Mandalorian S2 The Jedi, where Ahsoka overthrows Morga and Wing plays his part, even if it is small.

Reflecting upon Morgan's character, her arc, and character remind me a lot of FF16's Barnabas Tharmr, both wanted a sense of belonging and were willing to do anything, even die for that. Morgan's revenge seems to be her wanting to burn the galaxy for allowing the massacre to happen. While we don't have a suffering short, the Ahsoka finale is the suffering of one of Yoda's famous lines.

Barriss Offee - The Conflicted Jedi

Devoted

"Brothers, sisters enter. Enter. Now it is time you meet your new Master. Long Live the Empire!" Grand Inquisitor

Operation Knightfall has come... and Barriss Offee can only witness the fires of the Jedi Temple in her prison cell. Even after betraying the Jedi, she didn't want to see them perish (her reason for her actions in the first place was to protest the Jedi's involvement in the war). Of course, it doesn't take long for the Inquisitorius to take an interest. As Barriss recognizes Lyn, she discovers the narrative that the Jedi tried to "assassinate" Palpatine. Under threat of being killed if she refuses, Barriss takes Lyn's offer of an opportunity.

At Nur (I prefer Fallen Order's Nur over Kenobi's Nur but this show made Kenobi Nur look good), Barriss reunites with two Jedi, Ahmar (HE'S VOICED BY HUNTER?!) and Dante (VOICED BY ROWAN FREEMAKER?!), as we get the Grand Inquisitor (Jason Issacs is back!) recapping them of the galaxy's changes (Republic to Empire) and encourages them to prove themselves to join their ranks... discouraging them of trying to leave. Interestingly, Barriss acts the most Jedi-like (meditating while waiting) while Dante (is too scared of leaving) and Ahmar (who correctly sees that the Empire is no better than the Jedi) act un-Jedi-like. As Barriss tries to dissuade Ahmar from leaving, he scoffs (he notably asked why she wasn't in prison when they first reunited) why they should listen to her as it implies he might've been disgusted by what she did.

As Dante's opinions are validated with Ahmar's bloodied gem tossed, Barriss is taken to be tested by the Grand Inquisitor. What's really ironic is that the Grand Inquisitor became disillusioned by the Order because of Barriss' speech, and now he's giving her a crash course in truly embracing the Dark Side. You can see Barriss slow reluctance to give in to her anger but as the "fight" goes on, she becomes more aggressive and gives in to the Dark Side. With the Grand Inquisitor casually dodging her moves and encouraging her to stop "fighting like a Jedi", this results in Barriss hitting his shoulder armor... but he was still able to disarm her. As the blood drips from Barriss nose, she finally uses the Force to attack the Grand Inquisitor and with blood dripping from him, he regards her as ready for the final test.

The final test is of course... a fight to the death or else both will die. Even despite tapping into the Dark Side, Barriss doesn't want to fight... but Dante consumed by his fear decides to go for the kill. Barriss fights defensively throughout until she decides to save her life by Force-Chocking Dante. This of course is how she framed Ahsoka for murder and you can tell how shocked of what she just did as she's given her own Inqusistiro mask and greeted as a sister by Lyn.

The final scene shows Barriss, Lyn, Marrok, and even the Inquisitor from TotJ's episode Resolve meeting their new master: Darth Vader. The irony does not need to be stated. As Barriss puts on the helmet, truly accepting her role as a Jedi hunting Inquisitor. Her devotion is now with the Inquisitorius. We see the journey of someone who went from accusing the Order of promoting violence and warmongering to now joining an order of hunters who will reap violence (which she will discover).

Side Note: The Clone Shock Troopers and the proto-Purge Troopers are some of the most asshole Clones I've seen.

"Long Live the Empire." Barriss Offee

Realization

"The Jedi are a threat to be eradicated wherever they are found." Lyn Rakish

"Then you have one Jedi left to deal with." Barriss Offee

Barriss and Lyn are sent on a mission to deal with a Jedi supposedly located there. Barriss rightfully questions how they can trust the intel with Lyn's blindly believing she shouldn't question orders from the Grand Inquisitor. Throughout the entire episode, we see Barriss truly believe in the Imperial propaganda that they were bringing peace and prosperity to the galaxy. However, she sees the shantytown and ruins of a world where a rebel cell operated, and she's shocked about why the Empire would allow this to happen. Lyn coldly gives no empathy to the people as they rebelled against the Empire.

Eventually, they reach the town square where we see a major difference between the two former Jedi. Lyn aggressively threatens the townsfolk about revealing the Jedi and spews out Imperial propaganda about the Jedi which only gets her nothing from their elder. However, Barriss notices a child who seem to know where the Jedi is. Barriss' approach is calmly approaching the child, even taking off her helmet to nicely ask. Unsurprisingly, Barriss' approach worked out as the child gave the Jedi's location. This shows how despite being an Inquisitor, Barriss believes the Inquisitorius is a better version of the Order. However because the Governor lied about no Jedi being there, Lyn killed all of the people in the square. I think this might be one of the most violent moments in SW animation as we see several civilians killed on-screen. Thankfully, Barriss was able to spare the child as she encouraged them to not look back... that child is going to have so many trust issues when they grow up.

We get to know more about Lyn's thought process as it's clear she believes fear will bring a projection of strength (something which comes back to haunt her in the next short). It doesn't take long for the two to find the Jedi. The Jedi managed to knock out Lyn and we get a really cool duel between Barriss and the Jedi. Barriss tries to sympathize with the Jedi about being abandoned and left alone to join a new community. This convinces the Jedi to surrender after sympathizing with being alone and tired of running. However, Lyn then nearly kills the Jedi despite them surrendering. This was the last straw as Lyn dismissed Barriss' point of their surrender and that was when Barriss finally returned to the Light, as she Force pushed her former friend off the cliff. Symbolically, Barriss then drops her Inquisitor helmet off the cliff. She then begins to heal the Jedi as she proclaims they're not alone.

Side Note: The Jedi (They/them pronouns) is also voiced by a Queer VA, Ry Chase (goes by any all pronouns) which is amazing representation to see. I'm also so happy they aren't killed.

The Way Out

"I forgive you." Barriss Offee

"I don't want your forgiveness. I want you to show me the way out." Lyn Rakish

"You know the way out. You just have to accept it, Lyn."

"Stop calling me that."

"But that is who you are."

"There is no way out, is there?"

"That's what the Empire wants you to think."

"I am gonna get you out of here."

As a family with their Force-sensitive child makes their way to find help, they can meet with The Healer, otherwise known as Barriss. She has once again reconnected with her Jedi roots and embraced it. It's even highly implied she reconciled with Ahsoka which is the most heartwarming thing to know happened. However, Lyn has found them all (ironically she wasn't even searching for Barriss).

As Lyn is now sunken low to hunt children, Barriss notes how fear has become Lyn's master and not her ally as Barriss like the Grand Inquisitor dodged every strike.

In many ways, Lyn getting lost in the cave reflects how fear consumes and blinds you. As you let fear dictate your life, you cannot find the way out. But when you let go of fear, the way out is quite clear, the family and the attendants were able to easily get out of the cave as a result.

As Lyn becomes more afraid and fearful when her trapped state is apparent. We see the true Lyn, someone scared of failure, and the organization she serves. Lyn's mental breakdown reflects how just like in the first episode, fear can let you hurt people you weren't intending to hurt... as she stabs Barriss in her blind rage. However, Barriss's compassion despite everything she did was enough to finally break through to Lyn's heart, and like Reva, she abandoned her weapon to hopefully help Barriss. However, whatever Barriss lives or dies isn't important what is important is she helps her friend find the light.

Upon reflection, the Lyn represents Barriss' idealism being twisted by the Inquisitorius. Barriss and Lyn thought this new order would be better than the Jedi. However, while Barriss sticks to her Jedi's beliefs (she ended up in jail for protesting the Jedi's involvement in the war but still believed in its values), Lyn for a long time embraced the violence and heartlessness of the Inquisitorius. It's little wonder why Barriss wanted to do everything she could to help her.

Despite the darkness in these two shorts, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hunter did not need his heightened senses to be certain that he had fallen in love with you - if anything, they just strengthened his conviction that you were the one he was meant to find

Being the intensely devoted and thoughtful man he is, you were on his mind constantly, and he wanted a symbol of his love to be as a part of him as you had become

He didn't even tell you at first because he wanted it to be surprise

It wasn't until he changed into plainclothes for an undercover mission that you noticed the new black ink on his right bicep

You grabbed his arm and stared at the Aurebesh letters spelling your name

"You like it?" he asked, a little nervous

Speechless, you pulled him into a kiss

Whenever you have time alone together, you love to slowly trace the letters with your finger and listen as he dreamily talks about the future

He would keep a recording of your voice and laughter

Tech is a private person when it comes to his emotions, but he feels very deeply, even if he isn't sure how to best express his growing affection for you (he thinks it's obvious, after all)

It's this very reason why you doubted that he returned your feelings at first, until you walked by him one day and heard the sound of your own laughter, playing over and over

"What's that?" you questioned, now recognizing the moment that had caused your sides to nearly split (Wrecker had just taken the most dramatic fall into mud you'd ever seen, immediately after bragging he was 'too heavy' to slip)

Tech muted the sound and kept his stare on the datapad, "I capture auditory recordings of all of my interactions for analysis, and file away important data for later reference."

"My laughing is 'important data'?" you smirked as he hesitated for only a moment

"Well, no. Not technically. It is, however, a pleasant sound that reminds me of you, and one that I would like not to forget. By that reasoning, it is important to me," he stated, calmly meeting your awe-struck gaze

It took all your strength not throw yourself into his arms right then and there. He went back to filing his recordings, oblivious to the fact that he had just irreversibly won your heart

He'd also incorporate you into some of his private passcodes

Anything from your initials to your eye color to your favorite flower - just some of the many details that he associates with you and remind him of how much he cares for you

Crosshair is a man of conviction and loyalty, and when he was certain that he could trust you with his heart, he wanted to display his loyalty in turn

Modifying his rifle in any way at all is significant, so ingraining your name on the scope is a very personal gesture to him

But I saw this tiktok saying 'Wesker knew about Ada liking Leon from the beginning and had to take precautions' like what?? What precautions did he take he doesn't gaf about Leon... if he doubted Ada's ability to carry out a mission over a man she only met once then I don't think he would employ her again...

And the text they were using was from the original RE2 which is almost 30 years ago and they were applying it to the remakes. Like it literally said IN THE FILE that Ada was sent to retrieve Sherry and Leon also got the g-sample of Sherry. I said it wasn't canon because... it's not like that doesn't even happen in the remakes?? Leon hardly interacts with Sherry. Then loads of aeon shippers were saying it was canon and that 'the remakes don't completely change the story it's just a reboot!1!1!1!'

It's like... u seriously think something that was written TWENTY SIX years ago. Applies to games released in 2019 and 2023? U don't think the writers changed some aspects to make the games more realistic? 🔥 + those new star wars shows

i feel like it's not an unpopular opinion that disney star wars is like, bad, and we're very over saturated with sw content rn. but let's go one by one for disney era sw shows, yeah?

rebels (2014-2018): okay i love rebels. nuthin to say here. it's not perfect but overall, a good fun time. good fun characters. love it.

forces of destiny (2017-2018): meh. the animation is meh, but i liked most of the padme ones, and i liked the ones where the girls from different franchises interact, like leia and sabine and jyn. i like the concept, but overall was underwhelmed. but for what it was it's fine.

resistance (2018-2020): i don't really have an opinion on resistance. i watched a few episodes when it first came out but it didn't really pull me in. so i'm neutral on it, but it's sequel era so auto hate i guess. but not really. it's fine.

galaxy of adventures (2018-2020): best animation in star wars. oh and it's narrated by dante basco? incredible. love it.

the mandalorian (2019-present): hate. i liked the first season cuz i liked baby yoda (he's cute!), and i liked pedro pascal becoming daddy™, but then season 2 was just bad. the best part was them getting temuera morrison back as boba fett, but we all know how that turned out. and season 3 was simply intolerable. even characters i used to sort of like i now hate with a firey passion. like bo katan?? hate her. why is she so young?? and here's the real unpopular opinion, i HATE baby yoda. like he's not even cute to me anymore i literally just hate him with the passion of a thousand firey suns. i think it's the combo of over saturation plus the absolute STUPIDNESS that was his "arc" in the book of boba fett, but kill that little green old man with fiiiiiire 🔥🔥🔥. i didn't even care about the order 66 stuff with him, it was just so stupid. the best part was my boy kelleran beq. but i do respect the hell out of pedro pascal for being like, the highest paid voice actor in hollywood. like he's barely in the suit anymore but literally get that bread 🤑🤑🤑

jedi temple challenge (2020): i cannot belieeeeeeeeeve that when i look up "star wars shows" wikipedia has every fucking show listed EXCEPT jedi temple challenge. THE AUDACITY. THE DISRESPECT. jedi temple challenge is a star wars game show based on game shows like "legends of the hidden temple" from back in the day, and it's an absolute delight. obi wan kenobi (2022): my beloved. has done nothing wrong in their life, i know this and i love them. (except for what they've done to my boy the grand inquisitor. and fifth brother. but we don't talk about that.) genuinely so surprised that it was as good as it was, seeing the state of star wars live action before it. but i've never been so grateful that dave felony does not care about obi wan as a character, and therefore does not feel the need to rub his greedy little hands all over him. deborah chow did such a good job protecting the integrity of the characters imo. i would have been happier if it was just sad man alone in the desert, hallucinating anakin and house hunting with force ghost qui gon, but i've since gotten over that. i loved baby leia and the organas. also i don't think this is an unpopular opinion but KATHLEEN KENNEDY IS A LITTLE BITCH FOR CANCELLING S2 BUT GREENLIGHTING A REY MOVIE THAT NO ONE WANTS. ESPECIALLY when ewan/hayden/jimmy were all on board. she's number one on my hit list tbh. but if that was all we had it was enough. better to die a hero than live long enough to see yourself become a villain, and all that.

andor (2022-present): rogue one is the best thing that star wars has ever done imo, and andor is andor: a rogue one story, so it's great. but i fucking hate polldark cereal man. he's so fucking annoying. every time he is on screen i am throwing things at my tv. i don't even know his name, sibil, maybe? anyway, he's fucking stupid. taking away valuable screen time from my beloveds and for what? and he's just so boring. he's not even an interesting fascist like dedra (who i really only like because of the actress's incredible performance in "under the banner of heaven"). but anyway he's the worst. unpopular opinion is that mon mothma is sooo valid for selling her daughter to satan for one corn chip. go off queen.

tales of the jedi (2022-present): stupid. you can't even have continuity in your own canon? get it together dave, christ alive. i wanted to like it but, meh. i did like the rex, ahsoka, anakin one, because it's peak anakinnuttery and he's literally so insane i love it.

young jedi adventures (2023-present): adorable. you're killing it babies. high republic is fun. all the gold drip is fun. and the little riyo chuchi pantoran with the purple lightsaber is adorable. the eps are whatever, but it's literally made for 3 year olds, so it's great.

ahsoka (2023): it's so terrible i can't even speak. my expectations were low but man they wow'd me with how bad it was. first bitchy thing: ewan's new wife as hera was even more terrible than i was expecting. i can't think of a single thing i liked, except sabine a little, but that is for lesbian reasons and i cannot be held accountable for that. the rampant love for shin is soooooooo transparent. like i don't even dislike her, i like her just fine, but come on. and cgi hayden?? are you kidding me?? he looked SOOOOOOOO terrible are y'all for real?? i knew it was gonna be bad but damn. biggest takeaway was that whoever was in charge of the sound editing should be SHOT. it was so bad and sooooooo distracting. it took me right out.

huh. i guess overall i don't hate as many as i thought. but still, the ones i hate i really hate, and waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many. i'd sell them all to satan (except kenobi) for one corn chip.
